Nestled in the Scout Hut at the top of Gatley Hill, Brookside Preschool is surrounded by woodland, open fields and a beautiful stream. We make the most of our unique location by heading out on regular adventures, where nature becomes an extension of our classroom.

Our outdoor learning is inspired by the Forest School approach, encouraging children to explore, discover and lead their own learning while being supported to understand boundaries, manage risks and develop confidence. Whether they're building dens, searching for wildlife or creating imaginative games, children develop resilience, creativity, teamwork and independence through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
