A TYPICAL DAY
Our routine is flexible dependent on the children’s interests and levels of engagement. On days that we go out for walks the routine is adapted.
9.20am Registration then key group times
Children under 3 - Communication and Language focus (this usually consists of stories/songs and simple language focused activities)
Children over 3 - Phonics intervention/Letters and sounds phase 1
9.40am Free-play indoors/outdoors
10.00am Rolling snack (children can choose to access snack when they wish)
10.30am Nappy changing/toileting
11.30am Tidy up time
11.40am Gathering time - Music and movement, story and songs
12.00pm Home time for AM children/ Lunch time
12.15pm Arrival of PM children
Routine is then repeated for the afternoon.
